AEROSMITH: AEROMYTH:
We are waiting for a concert, expectant, our favorite group, Aerosmith, is going to perform on stage in only one minute. The minute passes really slowly, or it’s only our restlessness for seeing that fantastic group? Finally, the minute has passed but, look, that singer, though he looks alike Steven Tyler, it’s not Steven Tyler, because that singer is more young. What’s happening?
The thing that is happening is that, though they have the same look and they play the same songs, the band who is performing on stage is not Aerosmith, but Aeromyth, a tribute band who performs like Aerosmith, making a tribute to them. But that is not a problem, because they sound looks really like Aerosmith’s sound.
Aeromyth is composed of five members from United States, like the original band that is also from United States. The singer of the group is called Chris Vandahl, and he performs very well like Steven Tyler, the original singer, they look like brothers! The two leads guitarists, Neal Shelton and Karim Elghobashi play their instruments very similar to the real guitarists Brad Whitford and Joe Perry, the bass guitarist, Sir Robert Warren, it’s also very good, he also sounds similar to the original bass guitarist, Tom Hamilton. So, in conclusion, the sound it’s very similar to the original band, but, like other tribute bands, they have little differences whit Aerosmith, one of that differences it that the voice of Steven it’s more acute that Chris’s voice.
The look of the band it’s really similar to the original band, only their hair it’s different, because in Aeromyth all of the members have got long hair, and in the original band the members have got different longitudes of hair, but in the other aspects the look it’s really similar, overcoat Chris’s look, because he dances and he does the same movements that Steven done on stage, he also have got the same big mouth too!
I think that if you go to see a concert of Aeromyth, and you are a big fan of Aerosmith; though you will find differences between the two bands, you will enjoy the concert too; because it’s really similar; if you don’t think so, compare those two videos:
